Biography

As more Hispanics increasingly pursue college educations and enter the corporate workforce, there's a need to understand how their cultural experiences might impact their long-term careers and professional development. Equipped with this understanding, Dr. Miguel Corona established AdMentis Hispanic Talent Solutions to help employers recruit and retain the best Hispanic college graduate talent.

Miguel's professional experience has crossed two industries: corporate America and higher education. He gained first-hand knowledge about Hispanic college students working in the Career Services Center at the University of Texas at El Paso, one of the largest Hispanic serving institutions in the United States. Next, Miguel developed strategies for attracting the best and most diverse new talent by directing the College Recruitment operations for Nestle, USA. Later as the recruitment director for Security Capital Group, Miguel designed and implemented all facets of a successful college recruitment program. Finally, as part of the Campus Relations team for JobDirect.com, he built partnerships with university career centers to meet their information-management needs.

Miguel holds a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership. His areas of expertise include Hispanic leadership, emotional intelligence, career management, organization development, college recruitment, and cultural research. Miguel serves as the State Secretary for LULAC Ohio and is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBA's (NSHMBA) and the Cincinnati Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Miguel is passionate about education and serves as a faculty member for the University of Phoenix, Strayer University, and Axia College facilitating graduate and undergraduate courses.
